Cassidy Homes is proud to announce the opening of our new, full-service design studio, located in Winter Haven, Fla. When the 6600 sq. ft. studio officially opened its doors on March 1, 2007, it became the only stand-alone design studio of its kind in the Polk County area. As a way to display the various options a buyer’s has at his or her disposal when purchasing a new home, Design Centers have recently been used by national homebuilding companies. Instead of choosing their kitchen from a photograph or carpet from a catalogue, Cassidy homebuyers can now feel, touch and experiment with everything from built-in surround sound to self-closing drawers. “Before now, the Polk buyers purchasing homes from a large, national builder would be sent to Tampa or Orlando to view options like these,” says Steve Cassidy, President of Cassidy Homes. But with the opening of Cassidy Homes’ new studio, Polk County homebuyers will literally have thousands of choices, from shower tiles to kitchen cabinets, under one, conveniently-located roof. “My passion has always been to bring the best possible product to the local consumer at the most reasonable price,” says Steve, a 25-year veteran of the homebuilding business. “I see our design center as a continuation of that.”
